LEAVING ON A JET PLANE BACKPACK

$250.00

The idea for making backpacks has been dancing around in my head since I started working out in Red Hook. Well after investing in an industrial sewing machine, getting some heavy duty thread and some info form Layla of http://www.ledthread.etsy.com on proper needles. I was about to invest in some goggles at the rate I was busting needles on making bags. It was starting to become an occupational hazard. Who knew sewing bags was so hard core? Gangsta rappers eat yer heart out.

COLORS/MATERIALS: This bag is made out of vintage wool fabric, coffee bean bags and khaki that I fused in plastic (you know the kind that old folks put on their furniture). So the bag is water resistant and uber durable. The bag features 2 outer pockets, a laptop (13-15") pocket in the inside and a cord pocket on the inside. The straps are fully adjustable and are up-cycled from another back pack. The front of the back has been silk screened and appliques with my graphics.

SIZE: 15" wide, 18" at tallest point
